Rethinking different ways to explain technical terms of home insurance

ABOUT

The purpose of this redesign is to provide a visual guide for Suncorp Home Insurance. This is mainly targeted at audience who are shopping around for home insurance to help them understand the product Suncorp offers.

CUSTOMER PAIN POINT

Understanding home insurance product can be overwhelming because there are a lot information and technical terms especially when it comes to claims time.

GOALS

Customers goals

  • Potential new customers - learn about the product and what Suncorp can offer.

  • Existing customers - use the guide to understand their home insurance. Use the page as reference during claims time.

Business goals

Business wanted to trial reusable fragments for all the content we created. The benefits of this approach would mean the following:

  • Able to reuse content in other parts of the website

  • Save time and cost of writing / developing new content

  • Save cost in development as we are able to pull fragments and reuse them in appropriate places

  • A smart way to organise content in the Digital Asset Manager.
